Our teachers are amongst the most highly qualified and respected professionals in the language teaching business.

Our aim is to recruit the best and to keep them by offering excellent terms and conditions as well as the chance to develop their career. Teacher retention is a high priority as we understand that there is nothing more frustrating for clients and students than having to constantly change teacher.

An extensive professional development programme and a firm belief that “learning never ends” all contribute to ensure that staff remain both motivated and familiar with the latest developments in language teaching.

Our teachers teach in their mother tongue and only the target language is used in class. Our team in Geneva, Vevey and Gex is made up of over 200 teachers, educational managers and administrators who respond to the daily needs of our clients.

Always seeking to improve what we do and how we do it, we are firmly committed to the principle of independent external inspection. ASC-IH was the first school in Suisse Romande to receive the EduQua (the Swiss government’s quality label for schools) certification in 2001 and continues to hold this accreditation (renewed in 2010). In addition, regular inspections by the International House World Organization ensure that our standards in all areas meet the affiliation requirements of one of the leading language organisations in the world.
