Pedagogical Approach

In our opinion there is no single method to cater to every student objective and learning style. For that reason we would never try to impose or promote one single method.

At ASC International House, we identify our students’ individual needs and learning aims, and tailor our courses accordingly, using a student-centred approach to facilitate multi-skilled communication in the target language. We use modern technology to facilitate interaction between learners and their teachers and to encourage learning outside the classroom. Teachers have access to a vast selection of courses and supplementary material, all of which can be accessed on-line.

In order to provide this degree of flexibility we spend a great deal of time and effort when recruiting our staff. Once part of the team their professional development is supported by a large team of highly qualified and experienced teacher trainers.

It is no accident that every year ASC International House spends many times more on staff training than it does on marketing. We do not endeavor to sell our services – they sell themselves.
