ASC International House

ASC International House (IH) was founded in Geneva in 1974. It is affiliated to the “International House World Organisation”, a network of 155 language schools in over 53 countries, dedicated to offering high quality education and customer service.

The International House Trust is a not-for-profit educational charity registered in the United Kingdom.

From humble beginnings as a small private language school with a handful of classrooms on the Rue de Lausanne in Geneva, the company has grown enormously since the current management team took over. Today the company employs over 200 educational professionals in several cantons and in neighbouring France.

As well as providing language training to the general public and to many of the region’s leading companies and organisations, ASC International House is also heavily involved in the provision of school education in English. ASC International House owns British School of Geneva, Geneva Primary School and the A-Level College and also runs a bi-lingual programme in Gex in collaboration with Institution Jeanne d’Arc.

Each centre has its own director and management team and the whole organisation is supervised by a senior management team which reports directly to the board.

Full details of all of our activities can be found on our home page.

The strong development of the company has been driven by a philosophy of inward investment in its people and its products. Growth has been achieved through client satisfaction and not through sales teams.

Whether it be language training or children’s education, our primary aim is to meet the specific needs of our clients – we do not try to be the cheapest but we do try to offer the best possible service at a reasonable and competitive price.

ASC International House is an organisation made up of people helping other human beings to achieve their goals. In this context we are also proud to support "Médecins sans Frontières" (www.msf.ch).
